I graduated with a BA in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic in 1995, where I completed my senior thesis on Animal Assisted Therapy. For the next few years, I volunteered with my therapy dog, Crystal, at schools, hospitals, and nursing homes.
In 2011, I graduated with a MS in Mental Health Counseling from UMass Boston with a focus on individual and group counseling for children and adolescents. From 2010-2015 I worked as a clinician at a community based clinic in Whitinsville, working with individuals ages 3 through adult, couples, and families My clients had a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and substance abuse.
I opened my private practice in 2015 in order to pursue my passion of working with the youngest kids with the BIGGEST feelings and behaviors.
